Hi, I’m Karli Pickard, a coach with 9 years of experience and 11 years of competitive play, including NCAA Div. II. I focus on improving skills and game knowledge in a positive, supportive environment.

Head coach at EVPC since 2020. A MacEwan alumna and former player, I’m passionate about developing athletes at all levels — from serve receive and defence to attacking and blocking.

Hi! My name is Alex Sinik, and I have been coaching for 6 years! I previously played competitive volleyball for 12 years including years through the Team Alberta programs, and 5 years at the USports level as a libero at the University of Waterloo.

Kaitlyn Regal

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Regal, and I have been coaching volleyball for 7 years. I played 8 years of competitive volleyball as a setter/libero. I have worked at the center for 4 years and am passionate about sharing my love of the sport. I have coached many athletes aged 7 to 18.

Jolene Cook

Jolene is a former university outside hitter from North Battleford, SK, with a strong background in club, high school, and provincial volleyball. After ranking 2nd in kills per set at The King’s University, she now brings her competitive experience to her role as U14 Sea Dragons Head Coach.

KORYSSA WILSON

Coach at EVPC since 2023. Assistant Coach for the Sunbirds U15 Girls team(2025-2026). Passionate about athlete development, I strive to help players strengthen their fundamentals, and grow their love for volleyball both on and off the court.

XIMENA NG-GOMEZ

Coach for EVP youth development programs and summer camps since 2023. EV Sea Dragons Club assistant coach; U14G (2024-25) and U15G (2025-26). Current student at the University of Alberta, who enjoys spending her free time giving back to the volleyball community.

MADISON OLTHIUS

Coach for EVP youth development and summer programs since late 2025 and assistant coach for u15 girls STAVC team (2023-2024). With a bachelor’s degree in history going into secondary education at Kings University. My goal is to help athletes grow in both skill and love for the sport

JONAH VANDER LEEK

Coach for EVP youth development since early 2026 and former head coach of the U15B Camrose Vikings Volleyball Club (2023-2024). Completed BSc Kinesiology at the University of Alberta – Augustana while competing for the team. My goal is to use my experience to help athletes develop a love for all aspects of the game.

ALEX INGSTRUP

Alex is a youth development coach at EVPC. While playing as the setter & captain of the Concordia Men’s team, Alex won a national championship as the head coach with NAVC. As someone who has been involved in volleyball for over 20 years, Alex loves teaching all aspects of the game to make it accessible for everyone.

SPENCER LUKEY

One of the lead coaches for youth development, excel, positional, and premier camps at the south and west locations (2025-26). Current student athlete at the University of Alberta studying Computing Science. I strive to create the same positive impact on athletes that I received here as a young player.

RODNEY FENOL

Coach with EVP Youth Development since 2026, FOGG Volleyball Club since 2024: U15 Boys (2024-2025), U16 Boys (2025-2026). Current student at the University of Alberta in Secondary Education. I strive to develop athletes in a holistic way that acknowledges aspects of mental strength, physical skill, and lasting connection to sport and activity.

EMILIE ERSKINE

Coaching with EVP youth development programs and summer camps since 2021. EV Sea Dragons head coach; U14G (2024-25) and U15G (2025-26). Current student at Concordia University of Edmonton with a path in education. I am dedicated to working with volleyball athletes, growing the love for the sport.

WYATT TURNBULL

Started coaching with EVP youth development in 2026. Have coached U16-U18 boys club volleyball across Edmonton since 2020. As a former collegiate and professional volleyball player, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the game and seeing athletes dynamically problem solve to accomplish various skills.

KAITLIN ROLPH

Coaching with EVP youth development/excel since 2025, U of A Green & Gold camps since 2024. Current MacEwan University WVB student-athlete (Libero) studying psychology and sociology. I strive to share my knowledge and love of the game with younger athletes in a positive and hardworking environment.
