Join our coaching team
We’re looking for passionate, energetic coaches to help deliver an exceptional camp experience for youth athletes across Edmonton. All levels of coaching experience welcome.
Summer camps coaching positions
Coaching roles are appropriately filled based on a number of criteria including availability, experience, and background. All three roles contribute to delivering a high-quality camp environment.
Lead coach
Leads daily sessions, manages junior coaches, and ensures curriculum delivery across all sports and skill groups throughout camp week.
Junior coach
Supports lead coaches in running drills, skill sessions, and game play. Ideal for aspiring coaches building hands-on experience.
Volunteer coach
Assists with camp activities, athlete supervision, and daily operations. Great for gaining coaching hours and experience working with youth.
Criteria & Qualifications
Coaching roles at EVP Elite are filled based on a rigorous selection process to ensure the highest quality of instruction for our athletes.
Availability
Flexible availability for scheduled camps throughout the season.
Background
Relevant educational background in sports or related fields.
Experience
Proven history of coaching or high-level playing experience.
Certifications
NCCP Coaching Certifications (valued but not required).
Technical Skills
Knowledge of skill-based instruction for ages 8-17.
First Aid / CPR
Valid First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
- Vulnerable Sector Check is MANDATORY for all positions.
